We provide South African data that is publicly available but often hard to obtain, in PlanetGIS format. This is a service that we provide because of the massive need for it. Our business is not data. Our business software. A software license is not needed, nor included in the purchases listed below. All data products include the free PlanetGIS Explorer which is the minimum requirement to use the maps.
Please note that we do not create any of this data. Everything is directly obtainable from the source. We do not accept any responsibility for inaccuracies or omissions. Please see the downloads page for sources and dates of individual maps.
The copyright on these data sets remain with the respective source. All sources allow for free distribution of the data, but please acknowledge the source where appropriate. You do not need to acknowledge Planet GIS for this work. This is a free service. Prices listed on this page cover only media and handling.
